Hatching Medaka eggs is a rewarding and relatively simple process because the eggs are relatively large compared to there size and temperature tolerant. When you receive your eggs, they will be at least 5 days old, meaning they have already completed a significant portion of their development, you may even be able to see tiny eyes and heartbeats inside the egg.

Tracked free delivery, someone will need to be home to receive the package. If you are only available on certain days, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Dispatches are made on Monday’s, Tuesday’s, and Wednesday’s to ensure the eggs aren’t left in the post over the weekend, whilst we aim to send all orders within 7 days of purchase, please allow up to 14 days for your package to arrive.

Approximately 5–10 days later, the eggs are harvested and inspected for cell division, once this has been confirmed the eggs are stored in a clean, stable environment until they are ready to be sent to you.
